CVS and their scrolls

When the rest of the world is turning green from all it's environment-friendly freaks, CVS is doing everything in their power to resist this fashionable notion. It never ceases to amaze me every time I go to CVS and they print out a scroll of a receipt. Have they not caught on to the waste of paper that is occurring in their very own stores on a daily basis? Come on CVS, jump on the green train!

By the way this receipt was for a purchase of one shampoo bottle valued at $4.99. ridiculous.

wow, that IS ridiculous. i'm not sure it's ever happened to me though...but I do go through a bit of paper printing out coupons from that card-scanner-coupon-printer they put in there a few months ago..

CVS is outta control.

I seriously have a lot to say about this...

First off, when I realized that CVS gave away SO many coupons from a purchase, I was stoked. EVERY single time I would get a coupon that was $3 off of a $10 or $15 purchase; that's a lot of money!

But here is the problem - how often do you even GO to CVS? I go for prescriptions (so not that much), when I am sick (not every month), and if it's an emergency and I need that bottle of shampoo at 1am. So then I bust out my CVS coupon I had been carrying around for weeks and realize that it expires SO soon after you make your purchase. They are almost useless. I have NEVER used a CVS coupon.

In other news - the CVS pharmacy in Aliso Viejo is the WORST pharmacy I have EVER been too in my life. So between the stresses of not being able to use my coupons, and the pharmacy in Aliso, I have decided NOT to go to CVS anymore. I transferred my prescription service to Target.

And yes, I hope CVS reads this...

Ah but it is the $7.50 off of some medication I have never heard of that always gets me - like who uses that???
I do agree with you Carrie - the CVS in Aliso sucks - but their late evening staff are very entertaining - like they are high on caffeine or something - it feels like the parking trolley at Disney in there after 10 pm! ( much cheaper though and you get a coupon you can never use - now that IS more like Disney!)
Maybe Disney should read this!
